National Handwriting Day

Posted January 23, 2012

Today, January 23, is recognized as National Handwriting Day. That is definitely a holiday worth celebrating here at Confections! People are encouraged this day to reintroduce themselves to a pen and paper and put the emailing and computer messages away for a day. We stress the importance of this all the time and we are excited to think people may be practicing this today. According to holidayinsights.com, this holiday was established in 1977 with the obvious reason to promote handwritten letters.

With this being said, the design of the week this week is perfect on a set of stationery. This school-lined flat note stationery card screams “write on me!” What a great new take on your average wide-ruled paper.

I hope you have found some encouragement to write someone a note today. Anyone would appreciate it, so just go for it! Apparently January 23 is popular for holidays. It is also National Pie Day. Maybe you can multitask by following both of these holidays!

This school themed note card will be great for your student (or student to be) of any age!
